I've been rolling this around in my head for a while now. I've been thinking about making my blog private. I have over 3000 hits a month, and for the most part I think it's just fun and love that I can connect with so many of you, make new friends, share ideas etc. I LOVE that about blogging! However, the more hits I get the more I wonder about who is really out there. So this week, while I'm taking a break (see post below), if you have been a little mouse in the corner, reading my blog, would you please leave me a comment just so I can have a little peace of mind. I tell you what... I'll even throw in another give-away, for anyone...new or old blogging friends who leave a comment this week, I'll put your name in and do another random drawing it will be a REALLY GOOD ONE, I promise and I can't wait to see who's out there and make some more new blogging friends! Thanks! Holly

Making me happy...
* And this part is just for me, I want to look back and remember the little things that mean so much to me. I don't often post about Zach and he's seriously the best! He ran to the grocery store the other day with a fairly big list from me, and came home with these beautiful roses for me, just because. He also took us out to get a hamburger for lunch last Saturday, we went to Scotty's and Zach always orders my favorite drink, for me, a Cherry Iron Port. Love it. It's just these little things that add up to the big things and make me fall in love with him over and over again. Thanks sweetie! Mar 25, 2008

Happy St. Paddy's Day...
You can find the recipe Right Here, I also thought that this tutorial, on how to make little leg warmers for your kids was adorable!!! I might try to make some for my Brooklyn. :) I can't believe Easter is at the end of the week as well! What are we going to have to look forward to in April? Oh well. Brooklyn & Zach spent a little time outside on Saturday making this itty-bitty snowman. We've been meaning to get out and get a "noman" made all winter! It's just been too cold! So now that the snow is almost gone.... we thought we had procrastinated long enough! Labels: Daily Life, Fun Finds, Movies, Recipes, St. Patrick's Day

Popcorn popping...
We are anxiously awaiting Zach's arrival home! Well really I am the only one who is, since both Brooklyn & Braxton are napping. :) I really want to watch August Rush sometime this weekend. I've heard it's amazing, so I'm looking forward to having a little relaxing movie night.
Speaking of movie night, it's not complete without popcorn right? Well I just wanted to share a little secret that we LOVE to do with our popcorn. Just another little quirky thing that we do (kind of like the cream chesse and corn on our tacos). FIrst of all if you are a microwave popcorn kind of person- you are SO missing out! So pop your popcorn, and sprinkle your butter and salt on it like usual and then just get some of this yummy cheese seasoning to sprinkle on it too. I've seen it alot of places, Walmart carries it etc. It's near the Parmasean Cheese. Let me know if you try it. :) We sure like it anyway!

March Madness...
I can not believe it's MARCH! Wow, really, where does the time go?? That seems like my opening statement from the last few posts I've done! I feel so un-interesting lately! I spend my days, feeding bottles, making snacks, cooking, cleaning, changing bums, trying to get one bum to the potty on time and that seems to be about it! haha. Today, has actually been a pretty good one, Zach left early this morning to go out of town for a bit, (not that him going out of town is a good thing, I hate when he leaves!),but he couldn't bare to leave without giving his little Brooklyn a hug and a kiss goodbye, so at around 3 am as I was feeding Braxton, Zach brings Brooklyn in to get in bed with me too. We didn't get much sleep but more than I was anticipating. :) At first I might have been a little annoyed, thinking to myself, oh man, as if one baby keeping me up isn't enough, but the thought quickly faded as Brooklyn snuggled up close to Braxton and I, looked up at me with her beautiful big blue eyes, and said "luvs you mommy, luvs you Braston." My heart smiled. Moments like that make all the bum changing and mommy chores So worth it! :) I also wanted to share a quick favorite recipe. It's Taco's but with a twist. We add a special ingredient to the Taco toppings... First off we brown the meat and add seasonings to taste. For the toppings we use shredded lettuce, salsa (for me), sweet homemade chili sauce (for Zach), sour cream, cheese, refried beans and all the regular stuff however the twist is... we take 1 brick of cream cheese and add one whole can of corn to it, we heat it up on the stove top until it's nice creamy and mixed together well. Add that on top of our tacos! Before you think, that sounds awful or anything of the sort, just try it the next time you have tacos... Zach's family introduced me to this and now, I can hardly have a taco with out it! I will admit that my first reaction was that looks horrid! So just give it a try I did and now I'm a Twisted Taco girl!
