Did you Know???
Did you know that November is National Adoption Month? This month has flown right on by us and I've been meaning to do a post about this subject and look now it's almost over. Well, that's life right? lol. We are involved in a group called FSA (Families Supporting Adoption). We have met some of the greatest people in this organization! And we got to help set up this fantastic fireside involving Michael McLean, (he has a new book out called "From God's Arms to My Arms to Yours". You can get it Here. It is an amazing book and a great gift for anyone involved in the process of adoption!
We have recently put our adoption papers in again. You can check us out RIGHT HERE If you didn't know, Zach & I have been unable to have children on our own. We have been extremely blessed to be able to take this amazing journey through the process of adoption. We had the most positive experience getting our little Brooklyn! We couldn't ask for a better birth family. They are just like an extension of our own family. We just LOVE them to pieces! I can honestly tell you that Brooklyn's Birthmom, Brianna is the most beautiful girl I have ever met! She only wanted the very best for Brooklyn. She is so courageous, unselfish, and Christ-like. She is our miracle and an answer to our prayers. I know that adoption is sometimes viewed in a negative way so I just want to leave you all with this quote out of Michael's book... it says it perfectly: "Years of waiting. Months of planning. And now, in one matchless moment, the miracle at last occurs. There is so much love in this place and it's pure and true because none of the people in the room at this moment are as concerned about themselves as they are for one precious baby. Do all children who come to this earthly home get to feel this?".

Tagged...
I was tagged byMiss Sherelle. If you haven't checked out her blog... you are seriously missing out... so packed full of cute ideas, scrapbooking, crafting, and yummy recipes!! Anyway... Here we go 7 Random things about Me... 1. I drink hot chocolate every single morning for breakfast... and if it's really cold outside I have a cup before I go to bed too. I love to mix different creamers in it too... my two favorites right now are Cinnamon Vanilla and peppermint, mmmmm.
2. I LOVE good quotes... I find them everywhere I go... I have this massive file of them that I am planning on typing up one of these days. My recently found new favorite:
Love it! I'm always in the mood for a little uplifiting thought. 3. I'm not competitive at all, but since my parents bought a Wii I've been getting more and more competitive about my 223 bowling score... teehee...
4. I really want to set a new goal. Most of the time I feel "not good enough" and it holds me back from alot of great opportunities. I'm going to get outside my comfort zone and stop caring about what everyone around me thinks including myself. 5. I have really had to work hard at being patient with Miss Brooklyn this week... Here are a few things she's been up to... She has written on herself 4x this week. Lucky for me only twice with permanent marker, dumped the huge bowl of popcorn in the living room, poured about a gallon of water out of the bathtub onto the floor almost every day this week, wrote on Grandma B's walls, thrown a fit in Target like I've never seen and that's just the beginning... I can laugh about it now, and I have to say it does really help to snap a picture of it. :) She is really too cute, just a normal 2 year old. :) 6. I have 3 sisters. I feel like I am the luckiest girl ever! Seriously!!
7. I am a blog addict... haha! I have around 40 feeds on my bloglines account... sick I know. Thank goodness for Bloglines!!
Okay now I have to tag 7... tagging... Rachel, Christy,Lettie,Kristi O.,Morgan,Brianna, Sean & Jessi

Thankfulness...
I can't believe I forgot to post this... I love this picture. Zach took it last week off our front porch. It's beautiful don't you think?! I am so thankful for all that I have. A healthy family. A home to shelter me. Freedom. Faith. Family. You know... all the usual stuff, but we live in an amazing country where "the usual stuff" is coveted all over the world. I am so thankful for ALL that I have. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, here's to all "the usual stuff" we have to be thankful for!!

Good Things...
We rented The Ultimate Gift tonight... it's been out a while I'm sure, as we are not avid movie watchers. It is a MUST SEE... Really! It is the perfect family flick. So what are you waiting for? Go out and rent it. This is one movie I will actually buy! My friend LIz and I got together and made these cute little hairbows and a shirt to match for Brooklyn and her two girls Gracee & Emmee. While we crafted away... the girls played their little hearts out and also found some trouble to get into. Poor Liz's Christmas tree... we'll just leave it at that... Sorry again LIz!!
Oh... and I almost forgot. Picked up some of this yummy Stephens hot chocolate. It's peppermint flavored, & really has little bits of candy cane in the mix and it really hits the spot when it's chilly & wintery outside! Yum... go ahead and try it... I've seen it at Walmart & Sam's Club.
