Some big changes...

I know alot of you who like to use pre-made templates... thank you :Shannon. for introducing :THIS awesome site to me!! Braxton had his 6 month well baby check up... we finally figured out that he has Reactive Airway. It's sort of like baby asthma, but he will eventually grow out of it, but for now, we get to do breathing treatments 3x a day. Poor little guy, isn't a huge fan... On Sunday I got released from my favorite church calling ever... Activity Day Leader. (Here are a few of my girls at our last activity on Monday, I just LOVE them!) My new calling is teaching the 12-14 year old girls in the Young Women's Program. I'm a little intimidated, since I haven't taught Young Women's since I was first married... our lesson this week is on Scripture Study, one that I probably need more than the girls! Here is the handout I made today to go along with the lesson. The good news is that by next year, I will have alot of my cute Activity Day girls in my Young Women's class! And so it's been another busy week. I guess I wouldn't have it any other way. P.S. Any tips on being in Young Women's would be much appreciated! :) Hope you are all having a perfect week!!

Princess Dress...

I have gotten several e-mails asking me about where they could get a dress like Brooklyn's. So here is the link:EC Botique.
I'm in no way a photographer, (I would like to be, and I am getting better about cutting heads off in the photo's, I said better not perfect. :), but I couldn't resist taking a few pics of these flowers... aren't they incredible?! "Nature belongs to the eyes who see it..." Ralph Waldo Emerson

As if I need another hobby...

I know, I don't need ANOTHER hobby. But I couldn't resist making some jewlery when I saw these CUTE charms!! They are right up my alley, I'm loving all the doves, the flowers, even the peace signs... maybe I was born to be a hippy, free spirit,tree-hugging, go-green girl! lol. I call this one "Raspberry Fizz" after my favorite new drink that I had at Bear Lake.... it's for Miss Brooklyn.

And this is a really fun bracelet to make, it's made out of safety pins. It's easy, just a little time consuming. You just bead each safety pin and then run your elastic through both ends of the safety pin. SO cute. Everytime I wear one, I get compliments on it! I've been kicking this idea around in my head for a while now... should I try to sell these little trinkets? What would you pay for each of them?

Hello Shadow...

Brooklyn woke up this morning and wanted to head straight outside to jump on the trampoline. She discovered her shadow. I thought it was pretty cute the way she carried on a conversation with her little friend, she even sang her own little made up song to it. Have you all been seeing these muffin tin lunches around on a bunch of blogs? I have, and I thought it might make lunch more fun and interesting for Brooklyn, so we finally tried it out. You know what... she LOVED it. :) Oh, and sorry for the lack of clothing on Brooklyn, she has always been our little naked baby! haha! Me and my cute sister-in-law Megan made Rolo Cookies last night, I thought they were pretty dang good. You can find the recipe right here.

A little bit of this and that...

This is my new crush.... How can you not fall in love with that cute little thing?! The color, I think that might be what gets to me the most! If we lived in a warmer climate, I'd seriously be getting one!
I'm also loving these The Lemon Berry Real Fruit Slush at Sonic! So darn refreshing, I'm pretty much addicted to them. Oh and who is just la-la-LOVING the Olympics?? I AM!! Isn't that Michael Phelps just completely amazing! I think my favorite sport to watch is the gymnastics, and then the diving, in particular the synchronized diving. Does that make me kind of nerdy?? I hit up the library yesterday. Since I was a little girl I have always loved the library. I got a bunch of fun reads. RIght now I'm reading this: ANyone else read it too?? What did you think? Just a little randomness for you. I have some projects to share soon. Have a great day!!

Bridal Shower Ideas...

So I'm planning a bridal shower for my little sister... anyone have any fun ideas that they would be willing to share? Thank you in advance!! :)
