My eyes well up with tears at your kind response from my last post. My dad started chemo and is a little more than half way through his first treatment. He will get a 3 week break until the next treatment. He is doing SO great! He has had a little problem with his port that they put in last week, and not being able to draw blood from it, but other than that his only side affects right now are being tired & a little bored. (We think those are AWESOME side affects!) :) He is in good spirits. We are grateful for little things like a big window in his hospital room that overlooks a beautiful park and lets the sun come streaming in! We are grateful for happy nurses and doctors. For friends and family who are so thoughtful. We are truly blessed.

Funny. As I'm listening to your Dad talk on the video, my ground is playing the perfect song in the background. "Live like you believe, live like you know, it's one sure way your faith will grow. Listen to your heart, search in your soul and you'll find the strength that you need. His life, the gift of his peace, when you live like you believe." You are an amazing example of this, kiddo. Your dad has cancer and you are finding the good in it. You amaze me, and strengthen me. Love you, and we are praying for your Dad and your family.
WOW. Your dad is amazing. Loved that he took the time out to share with everyone how he is doing....he's thinking of others even when this is his time to think about him. Cool.

My eyes are filled with tears over the strength & kind spirit of this man. He is amazing. You are amazing. Your family is amazing. I'm so glad things are going well. Attitude is everything. He is so blessed to have a family with such positive energy cheering him on through this. Keep the updates coming. I'm thinking of you constantly. All my love.

Thank you Holly for doing this for all of us! if you could see my face you would see a lump in my throat and big fat tears rolling down my face. We love all of you so much. Thank you for your great example of "doing hard things!"

I am sorry to hear about your Dad...BUT I am so glad that he is doing so well! I hope things continue to look up! You have an amazing family with amazing strength!

Holly- I feel bad that I didn't get a comment in on your last post, but I wanted you to know that I have been thinking about you and hoping that things are going well for your family. Holly! I cried a little bit watching your dad's video. You guys are all so strong, and he seems to have good spirits with everything. You have been in our prayers, as well as your whole family.
