We recycled a bunch of Brooklyn’s crayons today! Seriously such an easy little project!
We went through her crayons, sorted all the broken ones out,
Peeled the wrappers off of them:
- Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
- Fill the muffin tin with an inch-thick layer of crayon pieces. (I bought a little muffin tin at the $1 store to use specifically for this.)
- Bake 15-20 minutes, or until the wax is melted.
- Allow the tin to cool; then pop out the crayons, and they're ready for use.
Tips: If you don't have a muffin tin to devote to crayon making, you can line your regular muffin tin with foil cups.
Candy and soap making molds can also be used to create fun, shaped crayons.
The kids thought this was pretty cool!
My darling friend Christal posted this song. One that makes you tear up. Loved it! Especially because I’ve been thinking about my CUTE friend Jill & her husband today! They just adopted their first little girl! SO SO happy for them! :)
I got my CHRISTMAS SHOPPING DONE! I’m so excited! Here’s to a Christ centered, peaceful holiday full of fun & family time! :)
Does anyone have any great holiday recipes, or tips or traditions you do for the holidays?
We also built forts and didn’t clean our rooms today! It’s okay to have days like that every once in a while!
HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!
