The best Applesauce Cookies EVER...

Brooklyn's Grandpa makes the best Applesauce cookies EVER!! I took these up to the cabin last weekend, and now everyone is asking me for the recipe... thought you all might like to try them too! So here you go... the perfect fall treat!! Applesauce Cookies 1 cup shortening 2 cups sugar Cream Together 4 eggs 2 tsp. Vanilla Add & mix well 2 cups applesauce 2 tsp. baking soda add o mixture (on top) but don't mix in yet. 4 cups flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cloves Sift and add to mixture. Beat well. Then stir in 3 cups nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate chips. Measure by spoonfulls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 for 9 minutes.
